The Tour

Well, after two months I am officially all moved into my apartment. And it’s such a wonderful apartment. It feels so much more homey and peaceful; I can actually relax here. Going home to my old apartment would often just make me more stressed out… So, after many requests (all of which may have come from my mom), here is the grand tour of my apartment. I labeled some fun things in my room because lets face it, pictures of walls are really boring.room tour2 room tour1room tour3

The nice and spacious kitchen:

Two of my favorite features:

The fireplace.

And real carpet! Don’t underestimate how wonderful it is.

Here’s a dorky picture of me in the apartment:

And that is all.

Chuck Reunion

So, the season two DVD of Chuck came out today, and needless to say, I bought it immediately after I finished at work. Then I proceeded to watch three episodes in a row. And I may have watched a couple from season one yesterday at Annie's...

I really just can't help myself. The last season ended last April, and the show wasn't even scheduled to come back on until after the olympics, so having it back again now is like a miracle. It will bring so much joy into my life. To me it's the perfect blend of action and comedy, plus it's not even dirty and there's great music.

I just wanted to make sure that you were all aware of the wonderfulness that will be on TV this Sunday, and then new again that Monday, so you don't miss out. Because that would just be tragic. You should all watch the season finale to prep yourselves as well, so I'm posting it on here for your viewing pleasure and convenience. I know all of you don't want to study or do any homework the first week of school anyways. I promise you won't regret it. No one I've forced to watch with me has disliked it yet!

For those who want to waste a little more time (although I think watching the episode of Chuck would actually just enhance it), I came across this funny blog post from a while ago about Chuck vs. Obama while I was looking for a picture. You're intrigued, admit it.

What the?

You know you've seen a good cliffhanger when two days later you're still trying to process what happened. While cliffhangers are designed to torment us (me specifically), when they're done right there's something about them that is almost beautiful in the way they make you think. Stick with me for a moment. I'm not talking about the cheesy Goosebumps style chapter endings, the "little did I know nothing would ever be the same" types, but the ones that turn everything you've thought on it's head and make you rethink everything that has happened up to that point.

As I'm sure you've gathered, there is one show I have in mind right now. It's the last episode of White Collar before the Christmas break. It's a brand new show, so most people haven't even heard of it yet, but I highly recommend you watch it. The episode I'm referring to can be found here (or below for the more lazy), but I think you'd appreciate the cliffhanger a lot more if you watch as many as you can that came before it. A fun activity for after finals! They did a fantastic job. I have to admit that at first I started watching the show because it looked funny and the main guy was in Chuck (and he's rather pleasant to look at). But after this episode I am 100% in.

Also, another quality cliffhanger that coincidentally has the star of white collar in it is the season finale of Chuck. You should watch it too. It's back in January! Thank heavens.
